EasySportBet - From Blacklist to Closure

Post by BbrokerAdmin »

For years, I haven't recommended this broker (see my review of ESB) and even added it to my blacklist of brokers to avoid.

EasySportBet will be closing its doors in November 2024. Here is the announcement that was displayed on my account:
Dear users,

We would like to inform you that, after 11 years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close Easysportbet as of November 1, 2024.

The new regulations in effect in Curaçao have led us to reassess the viability of our business in the current climate. After careful consideration, we have decided that it is best to cease our operations.

We want to express our deep gratitude for the trust and support you have shown us over the years, from our launch in 2013 until today.

Regarding your user accounts, we kindly ask you to withdraw your balances by November 17, 2024. After this date, remaining balances will automatically be transferred to Betkeen. Please log into your Betkeen account to review withdrawal conditions after this period.

While this decision marks the end of a journey, we do not rule out the possibility of returning one day with a new project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

With all our gratitude,
The Easysportbet Team
Betkeen was the white-label brand used by EasySportBet to access the betfair market. This platform has also closed, so it is important to withdraw your funds as soon as possible and use another broker, as I have recommended for several years. For example, BetInAsia replaced OrtbitX with SharpExchange in September 2014 due to similar issues, and AsianConnect has maintained its license for OrbitX (betfair trading platform).

I hope that the sports betting broker market does not end up with very few players, as it's never good to lack options; on the other hand, it seems natural for weaker offers to disappear.

What do you think?
